According to Indiana State law, you may build an ADU on your property but it must be between 220 and 800 square feet in size, and typically no more than 50% of the main residence’s living space. Detached ADU’s must be no larger than 800 square feet. Your specific county may have additional regulations on the construction of an ADU, but we work with all municipalities to ensure compliance with all building requirements

The fees for permits and hookups have a wide range of costs depending on dozens of different variables, from the size of the units, where you are wanting to build, how far we have to trench if you need any utility upgrade, and more.

Our pricing includes foundation, construction, finishes, design, appliances, and more! The only things that our pricing does not include are permit fees from the city or county and utility hookup fees. When we do our FREE Property Analysis & Estimate, we will measure out a hookup path for your specific property and include all hookup fees in your estimate as well!
